Your immaturity is only the child in you

The heart knows not what it desires,
Until it is enchanted by that desire..
It knows not, its strength,
Until it meets failure..
It knows not, its spite,
Until another one of its kind, has it shared.
It knows not, the lows,
Until the highs were, from where it fell..

It knows not, the smell of the first rain,
Until it had someone to share..
It knows not, the joy of waiting,
Until it had somewhere joyous to reach..
It knows not, the passion it holds,
Until it meets someone who fires it..
It knows not, the beauty of this world,
Until it sees it reflect from a soul that belongs to him..

A Journey to Shun!

The darkness welcomes,
it always has..
It doesn't change,
That what was..


There is hope,
Like that of a rising sun..
There is a journey,
That would be wrong to shun..


There is a choice,
Of walking and stopping..
There is a dream,
That you thought of pursuing..


You have both,
The candle and flame..
It would be your choice,
To blow out in shame..


Look up and walk instead,
It's all there merely in your head..
Walk strong toward your dream,
The light within,
